Well there are meny different was to get into this field. There are schools, training centers, and associations. All of which charge, offer certification, and placement assistance. I would suggest looking into the IPIU. Here is a link for a free level 1 access.

I have been a certified private investigator for about 4 years. Most of this time was spent researching, studying, and learning more. I haven't really put a full effort into my ambitions until somewhat recently and I'm glad I have.

I am the mother of a six year old, and wife of a good man who gets only sporadic work through his Union. I and my husband would love to have a home of our own to get out of the rental rut, and give our boy a place to quit worrying about if we are going to have to find a new place to live. We are in the low income bracket, and at this time are on food stamps. I would be most appreciative of any help someone would be willing to give us and would make sure that person or group was forever on my prayers.
